Information on membership
 
Our club practices at the Fanshawe Yacht Club located in the campground area of the Upper Thames Conservation Area (Clarke Rd near Huron).
 
The 2010 annual club membership fee is set at $ 175.00.  
For first time members to the club the fee is $ 160.00. 

Practices for teams are usually held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 7:00pm, rain or shine.  If there is enough interest, we will also have practices on Saturday mornings 10am. 
Teams set their own times so this may vary.

  • ability to form new teams (as per club regulations)
  • join any practice session (at the discretion of the team captain/coach)
Festival competitions are held in various cities and individuals will decide which events they wish to attend.  Typical cost per person per event is approximately $ 30.00. Fees are based on festival cost and number of members registered. 
     
Note:  The selection of races are up to each team to decide.

Registration Forms

All members must complete the London Dragon Boat Club registration and waiver form.  Please click the link below to view or print the forms.  Our members will also need to complete the Fanshawe Yacht Club Membership application as well (included in package). Both of these applications should be given to Brenda Pentland or Dave Gerofsky or mailed to the address on the London Dragon Boat Club application form.  Please ask if you have any questions about completing the forms.  Note:   The application for Dragon Boat Canada Membership is done online.  Please ensure you have provided an unique email address on your application form. (i.e. 2 DBC members may not use the same email address)
